South Bound

Hey blog readers...we are headed back to the great state of Tennessee today! We're excited to go home but we wanted to make sure we left the great white north (it is cold today..as in 38) with a snapshot of color. Check out Jakey...a Volunteer at heart, but a Wolverine for a week. I guess there will always be a little Michigan in all of us after this trip.

Thanks for all of the prayers and well wishes.

Next Stop...Nashville, TN!!!

Hey Whites!
Hope to see you soon.
Jake looks GREAT!!!!!
O.K. I have to admit, Michigan is part of The Union! That wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
God love you all.

What a GREAT picture! I have followed the blog for awhile now but this is the first time leaving a comment. Even though we are Ohioians & Michigan is normally a rival, I am so happy that the Michigan medical team worked their magic on Jake! He is such a strong little guy! I talk about him often to people. Even though I have not personally met him, you can't help but fall in love with him from the photos (can't imagine the spell he casts in person). Just look at that smile! It is not often that "miracles" are a part of the family & Jake is our "miracle" for sure. Happy Travels back home!
Love,
Alyson

Farewell Michigan and HELLO Tennessee. We are so glad you all are headed home after a very successful surgery. God willing, Jake will be good as new in no time. He will be in our prayers for a long while.

A few more days and he will be celebrating the big #2 BD. Hope his day is just as special as he is.

Thank you again Jen, for keeping us all informed from the day of admittance to the day of travel back home. I am sure there were days when you were exhausted and yet you took the time to give us updates. Love you for your caring ways. You certainly are as special as Margie tells me you are.

God bless you all.

Love, Susan and family
