speechless

I just got back from a wonderful weekend get away with my numero uno lady.

MY SIS!!

We headed out west to Phoenix where my sis was attending a conference.
I attended a weekend of do what I want when I want.
It was nice. realllllll nice. I highly recommend it.

We did a lot of sightseeing...including a moment of silence at the Fiesta Bowl where my beloved team won the National Championship back in 1998.

But, the highlight of our trip.... the Grand Canyon.

All I can say... I was speechless. It's big. It's deep. It's definately grand.

If you ever get chance you MUST go!

Back in Time..

Ok. I have to make one thing very clear.

I am absolutely in love with The Back To The Future Trilogy. I have it on DVD and refuse to get rid of my VHS copies.

So join me in my Deloreon...flux capacitor and all for a trip back in time.

Seat belt buckled? Check

3-point-21 gigawatts? check

85...86...87... 88 Miles per hour!

BOOM!!!!!!

We are now in the year 2010. Wait? 2010?

Yep.. We've traveled back a whole three weeks ago for you to see this!

This is my sweet boy celebrating his THIRD birthday!

Being the UT fans that we are.... being that a lot of my family is in Knoxville... being that it WAS the UT/ALabama weekend....Jake's party was on campus during our tailgating party.

Thanks to grammy for the Buzz Lightyear Cake.

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful gifts and for all the love and prayers you send our way. It's been an unbelievable three years.

Here's the pics...

These next two pics are kinda a big deal. Jake has texture issues so he doesn't eat cake. On this day he was interested in this cupcake.

He dipped his finger in...gave it a little taste and tried it. Huge deal!!

This is what he thought...

I love this little boy very much!

Oh MY!

Has it really been a month since I last posted something?!!

Yes, I believe it has.

October was well.... busy.

Lots to catch up on like the fact that my boy turned 3!

For now here's some pictures from Halloween.

We went as a toy story family.

There's Buzz...

And Woody and Jesse.

Jake had a great time. He'd walk down the street swinging his bag of candy. (he doesn't even eat it for goodness sake but he loved carrying it)

I love my neighborhood because of things like this.

Yes, every year this couple drives the neighborhood kids around in a cage. That totally sounds illegal but they have so much fun. At this point they were just getting started but 5 minutes later that cage was full.

Sooo, that's it. My first post in forever...that wasn't so bad.

Here's a couple more cute pics of my Buzz. Enjoy!
