I looked and looked...

and I found this picture for you to see.

Jake and his squirt bottle. I could tell how he tries to get you wet. But the I can't describe his sweetness, his cautiousness and his lack of aim. I can tell you every time he moves the trigger we squeal and laugh like he's nailed us in the face... whether he's right on you or across the room.
This boy continues to be the hardest-easy thing I've ever done.

So watch out! Jake plus ol'blue means you might (or maybe not at all..but you'll act like it) get wet!

Transition

Our lives have been one big transition lately.

We are transitioning into a new weekly schedule.

Jake is transitioning into the school system in a few months.

Dave is transitioning into hockey season.

I'm transitioning into it all.

It's enough to keep a girl keyed up and whirrling.

So now you understand why the bloggy-blog-blog had been left to write itself. (which it did not..where's good help these days)

Even though it's almost a month late...here is Jake's first day of school picture.

Orange you glad it's the time of year.

Yes, we are Vol fans. We head east pretty often during football season.

My team is just kinda blaw this year but I have hopes of a good season.

What is not blaw...is the tailgating: the food, the family, the fun and of course the band.

Here's a few pictures from our home opening weekend.

Enjoy:)

After all the playing and fun... Jake crawled up in a chair with buzz and took a load off.

Update

It's been so busy around here that I just put the blog on hold.

We are slowly getting into a new routine. Slowly. Very Slowly.

So here's what I want you to know.

Jake's heart is still looking great. We went to the heart doctor this week for the first time in six months. The actual story is that I didn't write the appointment down, knew it was in September, and got a surprise on our way back into town Monday night. My answering machine had a message for the appointment Tuesday morning! The good news, I didn't have time to get worrisome over it.

Jake's heart looked fantastic and we go back in March. If we get the OK sign then... we'll start going yearly. Yearly. Did you read that. YEARLY!! oooohhh! That would be sweet.

I'll get pictures on soon. We've got football and testing and sickness and heat to talk about.

For now, wanted to spread the good news. Thank you Lord!
