A couple of things stand out in this picture to me.
First, Jake has gotten sooooo big.
Second, he's basically flying blind because he eyes are nowhere in sight.
Good things he's got his spidey senses.

Good News
We are very thankful in this White house tonight. My little man went to the heart doctor this morning and received a wonderful report. We are now on yearly visits to the cardiologist.
Yearly! We've been through 2 week appointments, monthly, bi-monthly, every 3 months, 6 months and finally... a year. This momma can't hardly take it in.
We are thankful for your prayers, thankful for the lessons of this path and thankful for the pause we get to take.
Most of all, we are thankful for this little man.

School Days
Got a note from Jake's teacher yesterday that they had been studying community helpers and it would be nice if they came dressed to school as a community helper today
Sooooo, with then less then a day's notice I went to work. Fireman... he'd never wear a hat and his boots are too small. Police Officer... maybe? Doctor... no white coat and he'd lose the stethoscope. Soooo I thought of something that is so Jacob...
He's a librarian. With his cardigan, book bag and library card in tow.
My Jakey loves books and I think he's the cutest librarian I've ever seen.
