It's TIme

Jake's heart doctor says it's time to schedule surgery. We went to his cardiologist this morning.

Whatta way to start a week!!

Sooooo, we're just waiting for the surgeon's office to call and set a date. It could be August.... or September. But it's a'coming.

It's the pits. Let me tell ya.

But here's the good news... there's that peace thing. That grace thing... and that thing I like to call the God-has-got-it-so-let-Him-handle-it thing. Yeah, I like that one.

Just pray for us. Pray that things stay normal for as long as possible. I like normal.
My baby is gonna be just fine.
As Dave says we just have to jump this hurdle and we'll be right back on track.
Don't you worry about a thing. Just send up a few (hundred) prayers to his Maker.
We'd like that.

Dear Jenny and Dave,
We gotta trust in God.....this is another leg of the journey He has planned for Jacob. He is young and now is the best time to repair the heart problem......he will do just fine.

Please know that we care amd that our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I hope you don't mind because I pasted the news from your blog today to the family website. Surely, many would want to know so they can begin their prayers.

Thank you for sharing this day with us. The next days and weeks will be hard for all, but I hope that you both can be strong and try not to worry. Believe.

Love yas, Susan and family.

Dear Jenny, David and Jake,

You know you are always in our prayers. We love you guys so much. God can do anything and everything, especially fix Jacob's heart and wrap his arms around you all and give you comfort and reassurance. Jacob is such a special little boy and he has already touched so many hearts. I know that eventhough you trust in God with your whole heart, you are still nervous and scared. One day you will be able to look back on this with a sigh of relief and thankfulness. If you need anything please let us know and call me whenever you need to talk. We will continue to pray for all of you.
Love ya,
Amanda C.

But as I refuse to become panicky, and as I lift up muy eyes to Him and accept it as coming from the throne of God for some great purpose of blessing to my own heart, then no sorrow will ever disturb me, no trial will ever disarm me, no circumstance will cause me to fret, for I shall rest in the joy of what my Lord is."

Jenny and David,
The time has come. We have been waiting for this day with dread and with antisapation.
I'm with you. We'll put this all in the Lord's hands. He will take care of "Our Jacob" , He will take care of us all.
Love
