Anyone wanna buy a T-shirt?
I'm raising money for our little adventure in Michigan for Jake's surgery. We have no idea how long we'll be up there. So we're preparing for anything between a week to a month.
A very crafty and brilliant friend of mine (I luv ya Beth) designed these adorable shirts.
They say Bless Jake's Heart on them along with a reference to one of my favorite Bible Verses.

I have prayed and recited Philippians 4:6-7 at least a thousand times since Jake was born.
Here's a closer look at them. The shirts are white... even though this picture looks a little blue.
So here's the details.
Cost: $15
Sizes: adult small through 2XL (i don't have any children's sizes..sorry)
Cash or Check only. Just make the checks out to me.

My goal is to have as many people as possible wear their shirts on October 7th. The day of Jacob's surgery.
As alway I ask that you pray for him daily. Getting as many people to pray for Jake is not only the best thing I can do for him... it's really all I can do.

No one has signed up yet?!? Well then I get to be the first to buy one of those adorable shirts! Let me have a L please. I won't be at church this week, but I will leave you a check in the library and you can leave the shirt. I'm not sure if you already have the shirts or not, if not just get it to me whenever. Can't' wait!

Yes, Big Nanny wants that shirt! If you are at church on Sunday bring it to me or I'll meet you somewhere. And I'll definitely be wearing it on Oct 7!

To clarify, will you be in MI for this surgery or here in town? I think I didn't read back far enough...

Melissa, you just make me laugh. I love it. Yes, we will be in Michigan for the surgery. It's at the children's hospital in Ann Arbor. Our surgeon there has been described to us as a rockstar.
Count the Congdons in for 5 Tshirts. We will need an adult Med, XL, and Lg and a childs Small and LG. We will be at church on Sunday morning and night (as long as we are having class). Just call me on my cel and I will come give you the money, you can bring the shirts whenever they are done.
We would love to have some. Let's do 2 large and I would take 2 kids smalls if you have them. Can give you money on Sunday or I can drop it off to your house. We love you guys
What a great idea to comfort you all as you make the trip to Ann Arbor. How nice of friend Beth, to create the perfect design for the shirts to bring attention to your precious little man. Good job Beth......thanks a bunch....we will wear our t-shirts proudly.

Hey Jen and Dave and Jake! it's your long lost - might I add favorite- little cousin from Alabama! My friend's dad is in Africa for a year ministering, I e-mailed him to keep the prayer chain growing ... so, you can mark Africa by my name. haha. It's amazing that their are people all over this globe that know what a cool guy Jake is and are praying for him! I love yall very much and miss you guys!

The 5 shirts ordered arrived today....wow, that was quick. They are lovely. One will get repackaged and mailed to another daughter in Nebraska. I especially like the way you present them... with the ribbon and the little name card bearing my favorite picture of Jake.
